Please let your doctor know of your condition and ask him if it is something that would prevent you from donating. There are certain chronic medical conditions that researchers are interested interested in.
There is no perceivable threat to the mother or child. The baby and mother are the top priority. The delivering physician’s first priority is always the mother and baby. Only once the mother and Baby are all taken care of will the physician begin to collect the post natal birth tissue.
We will cover all the costs associated with collection and donation process.

We screen each donor in a few different manners. We are required by the FDA to do a blood draw from the mother within 7 days of deliver. The blood will be sent to an independent lab where they will test for pathogens. We also require information regarding the donor’s social/medical history that will be provided in the form of a questionnaire.
Your placenta will be used for research or product development. Tissue Recovery Services is strictly a recovery service that places these otherwise incinerated tissues with organizations that can use them for good.
